Hermann Park Japanese Garden

Five-acre stroll garden inside Hermann Park, with a tea house, koi pond, stone lanterns, and wooden bridges. The most curated landscape in central Houston.

What works here

The arched red bridge is the obvious frame, but the stepping-stone path on the east side gives a less-photographed angle. Spring azaleas and fall maples are peak. Small entry fee on some days — check the park site.
